Privacy
Short version: you can use every part of FairStash without telling us who you are. There are no accounts here.
What we collect
One thing, and only if you send it: your Discord username, typed into the early-access form on the Pro page. That form is the only place on this site that asks you for anything.
The Discord bot
When you run /value, /trade or /help, Discord tells us what you typed into the command — an item name, or both sides of a trade — along with your Discord user ID and username. That is how every Discord bot works. We use it to build the answer and then throw it away. Nothing about who asked, or about what they were trading, is written to a file or a database.
The bot cannot read your messages. To read what people write, a bot needs permission to read a channel’s history and Discord’s message-content intent. Ours has neither: it connects with no intents at all, so nothing anyone types in your server ever reaches us.
/alerts is the one command that saves something. When a server admin turns it on, we store three numbers Discord uses to name things — the server, the channel, and the role to ping, if one was chosen — so we know where to post when values move. No one’s user ID is stored with it. A channel is subscribed, not a person, and running /alerts off deletes the record.
The Telegram bot
When you send the bot an item name, or use /v in a group or @FairStashBot in any chat, Telegram passes us that text along with your Telegram user ID, name, username, the chat ID and the language of your Telegram app. That is how every Telegram bot works. We use it to build the answer and then throw it away: the text, the chat and who asked are not written to a file or a database. The only thing we count is what kind of request came in.
In a group, the bot does not see the conversation. Telegram delivers a bot only the commands addressed to it unless a group admin turns that protection off, and even then we ignore everything that is not a command. The bot never writes to anyone first.
Using FairStash
Everything here is free, and there is nothing to agree to before you use it. Two things are worth saying plainly, because people act on our numbers:
A value on this site is a community estimate, not an official Roblox price and not a promise about any real trade. The calculator tells you what the numbers add up to; whether to accept an offer is your decision, and trades in the game are final. We do not run trades, hold items, or stand between you and anyone you trade with.
Please do not scrape the site or hammer the bot with automated requests — it runs on one small server. If you want the data for something, write and ask.
What we never ask for
No email address. No age or date of birth. No password. No Roblox account, and no Roblox login of any kind — if a site ever asks you for your Roblox password, it is trying to steal your account.
What happens to your Discord username
It goes to a private channel that only the owner of FairStash can read. It is not kept in a database, not added to a mailing list, and not shared with anyone. We do not use it to contact you — it only tells us how many people want Pro. Changed your mind? Write to us and we delete it.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get used. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which Google uses to guess which country you are in.
Two settings are switched off on purpose and stay off: Google signals and ad personalisation. Your visit is not used to build an advertising profile and not used to show you personalised ads. There are no remarketing tags and no social-network trackers on this site.
We also use Yandex Metrica for the same visit counts — the Yandex ad network only accepts sites whose visitors it can count itself. It sets its own cookies and receives your IP address too. Its session replay and click map are switched off: we do not record what you do on a page.
Ads on the Russian-language pages
The Russian-language pages (everything under /ru) show one ad unit from the Yandex Advertising Network, below the main content. The English pages show no ads. The ad code is loaded from Yandex, which sets its own cookies and may pick ads based on interests it has inferred. We cannot switch that off for a single site, so we say it here instead of promising otherwise. We send Yandex nothing about you.
To turn off interest-based ads from Yandex in your browser, use yandex.ru/tune/adv. Ad blockers also work — the site does not depend on them being off.
Our host
The site runs on our own server behind Cloudflare, which carries the connection and keeps the server standing. Like any web host, both see the IP address a request comes from.
Kids and parents
Flee the Facility is played by a lot of children, and this site is built so that a child cannot hand over personal information here: no sign-up, no profile, no uploads, no messages between users.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child sent us their Discord username, email us at privacy@fairstash.app with that username and we will delete it. We will not ask you for anything else to prove it — asking for documents would mean collecting more data than we deleted.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade anyone’s data. We do not choose ads ourselves or pass anything about you to an ad network. We do not track you across other websites.
